where were you?

Where were you when the mountains splited?
When I was stung by depression
Bitten by pain
Crushed by frustration?
Where were you when I needed a listening ear,to hear my silence
Where were you when I needed a helping hand, when I needed comfort and a cover?
You were there but never here, you stood close but still far...
I needed more than just a hug,it only lasted seconds
I needed a Friend to call my own, someone I could share my deepest secret with
But you needed more, more that my desires became blured
And all that matters was you....
Where were you when I was broken?
When I struggled with addictions I was ashamed of
Where were you when I couldn't understand life any More
Days I needed just a tap on my back, and a genuine smile from you saying all will be well..
Where were you, days I brought pills to sleep because I couldn't comprehend the pain I felt inside of me.
Where were you?
I still wonder where you are, and I hope you come back soon!!!
The river won't stop flowing and the sun won't stop shinning...
