I LOST YOU

I stand at the edge of life,

With my heart bleeding out regrets.

Years wasted panting on lies,

Lies told to deceive My feelings.

Your voice,music to my ear

Your smile,tingles my heart.

The thought of you cream my heart,

Washing away the wax in my soul.

Like an eagle i elevate with your love.

Today I'm lost in the desert of deception.

Choosing to let you go,a regret not to forget.

A beauty,I choose to neglect.

Your pleads I ignored,

Like a clock you tick out of sight.

I should have stood by you,

Holding you tight to my heart.

I should have walked with you through the accusations,

I should have fought for you,

Brushing those tears off your cheek.

But I lost in this puzzle,

I Scrabble away the love we both shared.

You are perfection, the queen of beauty

I treaded you to the dust,

To be humiliated. 

My ear I wish was open to your plea.

Seeing you laugh at his jokes,

Was a reminder I can't have you back.

I love you so much until I lost you.

I lost you, never to have you back.
