FREEDOM

The Chains entangled around my wrist,
Are the only  sounds bold enough to tell my story,
Living in a doomed world where edges are better off than the beginning.
Leaves dried up,
Mountains wearing away.
The night has become dark, even darker than coal.
We were told to learn.
How can we, when hunger is our closest companion?
Begging for a drop of water to wet a patched throat crying for survival.
Eating from the trash to avoid been eaten by vultures.
Our girls are been taken for their innocence by predators who offer a penny for their hymen.
Our banks mourn for emptiness.
Those we planted our hopes on,
Served us a dish of betrayal...
Right in front of me,
I watch my world
And like glass it crushed right before me.
If you must survive, you have to work.
Work through the day and harder at night.
Ammunition became what we fed from...
The carcass of many we slept on,
Our houses were demolished.
Our anger solidified, and out of our belly came groaning.
Enough!
Enough!!
We cried, no one heard,
No one cared.
It was time to choose the way,
The way to survival,
The way to healing,
The way to freedom.
For this reason we became our own prey,
Using what we got to get what we want.
Today most of us await judgement,
For things we never did on purpose.
We are tamed criminals,
Without knowing the path we all threaded..
Who can hear us?
Who understands how we feel?
Like candle our lives waxed away,
For this day we only cry for freedom.

HOPE CALLS

HOPE CALLS In shadows deep, when hope seems dim,  And paths ahead are hard to skim, Remember this, in times so tough,  Your strength prevails, you're strong enough. Though storms may rage, and skies turn gray,  Your spirit shines through, come what may.  Each step you take, however small, Is a testament to your courage, standing tall. When doubts assail, and fears arise,  Look deep within, where strength lies.  For in your heart, a fire burns bright, Guiding you through the darkest night. Though trials may test your will to fight,  Hold fast to dreams, with all your might.  For every challenge, a lesson learned,  And with each setback, a brighter path discerned. So rise, dear soul, and do not yield,  For your journey's end is not yet sealed.  With faith as your compass, and hope your guide,  ...

LIFE

Dear reader, I'm sure you're wondering why I'm writing to you on such short notice. I'm a person who believes time is running out. We live in a world filled with endless problems, yet we manage to navigate through with masks of fake smiles. I write to those like myself.  You may not have endured the same trials as I have, and your story may be different in its own way.  But know that comparing our problems won't diminish mine or justify yours.  It's curious how we find hope in the tales of others. So, I hope you'll learn to let go and trust in God.  I hope you'll forgive yourself and others who may have caused you pain and resentment.  I hope you'll learn to live in the present and aspire to a brighter future.  I hope you'll discern truth from deception when others attempt to mislead you.  I hope you'll realize that true love begins with self-love before extending to others.  I hope you'll embrace inner peace amidst life's...

The young me

The story that completed me is the story I'm gonna share Years ago I wore pant designed with curiosity Hair bands made of pity With a matching shirt that reads she's too gullible I spend time alone in a corner feeling too ashamed to unvail my identity Wasn't sure of who I was so I kept jumping into spaces that didn't fit pretends was my best friend,oh! I Mean the only soul I got I freely gave what I had but held on to candies that weren't met for all Even though I looked strong I was bullied by those way too young to hit me Crying like a baby was all I knew best  And it didn't help, no it didn't So I crawled out of peoples Lives when I stop feeling comfortable Like a candle stick I held on to what I really felt within Before I clocked 15 have got lot of fears seating in my heart Each time I cough it like a bomb been released Into the universe Like a dream come through all my fear started to manifest it existence And yeah!I saw them coming but couldn't fi...
